Quality and Call QA: Ask Quality AI

Objective. Open Ask Quality AI and position it as acceleration and first-pass surfacing that still needs human review, calibration and evidence - never as the autonomous final word on a score.

Ask Quality AI assists evaluation and surfacing across the quality data. It answers 'can AI speed up the first pass and point us at risk?' - with the whole product designed to keep AI under human review.

What this screen answers

Ask Quality AI applies AI to accelerate evaluation and to surface patterns and answers across the quality data. It answers 'where should we look, and what is a fast first read?' Sales uses it to show AI-driven coverage and speed; a CSM uses it to triage faster - while making sure every AI output that carries a consequence passes through human review, calibration and evidence.

The task

Pose a real quality question or let it propose a first-pass read, then treat the output as a draft: open the underlying interactions and evidence, check it against the rubric, and route anything consequential through a human reviewer. The task is to use AI for speed and reach while keeping the human-in-the-loop controls - calibration, four-eye checks and disputes - in front of any score that matters.

How to read it

The classic misread is treating an AI-suggested score or answer as the final word. AI does the first pass and the coverage; it does not stand behind a score with consequences - a human does. An AI score is a suggestion to be reviewed, and an AI answer is only as good as the data coverage and evidence beneath it. Read every AI output next to its evidence, and apply the same trust controls you would to a human reviewer: is it calibrated against the rubric, can it be disputed, would a four-eye check uphold it. Confident wording from AI is not accuracy - accuracy is still proven by calibration.

Honest limits

AI accelerates evaluation but does not replace the trust controls; an AI score without human review is a confident-looking number no one has validated, which is worse than honest sparse sampling because it looks authoritative. Confirm with product which AI scoring models, supported recording and transcription sources, and review workflows are entitled for a customer; the demo shows the assistance on seeded data.

Interpretation check

An AI-suggested score or answer is a first-pass draft to be reviewed against evidence and calibration - not the autonomous final word; a human stands behind any score with consequences.

In the field

OVO (contact centre): AI first-pass scoring across a high call volume is valuable only because calibration, disputes and human review keep a human standing behind any score that affects an agent - the controls are what make the speed usable.

Practical task

Open Ask Quality AI, pose one quality question or take one AI first-pass score, open its evidence, and write a four-line note: the AI output, what the evidence confirmed or contradicted, whether you would route it to human review, and the one sentence you would use to position it to a sceptical customer.

Self-check

A customer says 'we don't trust AI to score our calls.' How do you position Ask Quality AI?

As acceleration and coverage for the first pass, with calibration, four-eye checks and disputes as the trust controls and a human standing behind any score that has consequences. Human-in-the-loop by design, not autonomous scoring.

Why is an AI score without human review worse than honest sparse sampling?

Because it looks authoritative while no one has validated it - a confident number mistaken for an accurate one, driving decisions and agent consequences no human is standing behind.

What must you read alongside any AI output here?

Its evidence and the rubric - the underlying interactions, and whether the output holds against a calibrated reading. Fluent wording is not accuracy.

Does AI change which metric proves accuracy?

No. Accuracy is still proven by calibration agreement - including AI versus human - and improvement by recurring-error reduction, not by the AI's confidence or speed.
