Real-Time Adherence: Adherence analytics
Objective. Read the historical and trend view of the three adherences to spot patterns worth a routine or structural fix, without mistaking a backward-looking trend for the live control-room job.
Adherence analytics answers 'over time, where do our adherence patterns point to a structural problem?' - the retrospective view that feeds schedule redesign and manager routines, as distinct from the live floor management the Control Room does.

What this screen answers
The customer question is: across days and weeks, which teams, intervals or agents show a persistent adherence pattern that a one-off intervention will not fix? A Sales person uses it to show RTA closes the loop from live signal to lasting improvement. A CSM uses it in a weekly or monthly review to turn recurring exceptions into a schedule change, a break-pattern fix or a coaching routine - decisions that belong to analysis, not to the live shift.
The task
Scope to the team and a period and read the three adherences as trends, looking for recurrence: the same interval thin every day, a team consistently below output while schedule-perfect, a pattern that tracks a specific shift or skill. Carry the finding into Scheduling or Capacity Planning if it is structural, or into a manager routine if it is behavioural. Exact chart types, breakdown dimensions and export options are SME-validation-pending - describe trend and breakdown, not invented controls.
How to read it
Two misreads to avoid. First, do not use analytics to manage the live floor - a trend tells you yesterday's and last week's pattern; the Control Room is where today is still fixable. Second, keep the three adherences separate in the trend just as you do live: a team trending well on schedule but flat-below on output has an output or standard problem, not a presence one. A persistent pattern is a prompt to investigate a cause, not a ranking to act on directly.
Honest limits
Analytics shows the trend model on seeded demo data. The quality of any trend depends on consistent activity capture and a stable output standard over the period - if capture coverage or the standard changed mid-period, the trend is comparing unlike things. Confirm with product the available history depth, breakdown dimensions and export formats. A trend shows what recurred; it does not prove the cause or that a specific fix will move it. Do not quote a history window or a percentage as fact.
Interpretation check
Analytics is retrospective, not live. Use it to find recurring patterns for schedule or routine fixes - never to manage the current shift, which is the Control Room's job - and keep the three adherences separate in the trend as you do live.
In the field
KnackGlobal (RCM): a recurring same-interval coverage gap across weeks is a scheduling fix, not a daily firefight - analytics is where a CSM makes that case to redesign the shift rather than keep reacting live.
Practical task
On the demo, pick one team and a period, identify a recurring adherence pattern, and write a 3-line finding: the pattern and which layer it sits in, whether it is structural or behavioural, and the specific routine or schedule change you would propose - noting what you would validate about the period first.
Self-check
A lead wants to run the floor off the analytics view. Why redirect them?
Analytics is backward-looking - it shows yesterday's and last week's patterns. Live intervention while the day is still fixable belongs to the Control Room. Analytics feeds routines and schedule changes, not real-time action.
A team trends schedule-adherent but persistently below output. What kind of problem is that, and where does the fix go?
An output or standard problem, not a presence one. The fix goes to the work itself - process, complexity, standard validation or coaching - potentially via Work Output, not to a presence intervention.
Why can a clean-looking adherence trend still be misleading?
If capture coverage or the output standard changed during the period, the trend compares unlike things. Confirm the period's capture and standard were stable before drawing a conclusion.
