Work Output: Help centre
Objective. Use the help centre to find guidance on a screen or term quickly, and treat its content as orientation for the demo - not as a source of truth about a customer's entitlement, definitions or numbers.
The help centre answers 'how does this screen or term work, and where do I look it up?' It is the in-product reference a new CSM or rep uses to get oriented fast, and it pairs naturally with these workflow modules.

What this screen answers
A new CSM or rep uses the help centre to look up what a screen does or what a term means before or during a demo; it lowers the cost of not knowing. The customer-facing question it supports is 'can a user self-serve an explanation?' It is orientation, not authority on a specific customer's configuration.
The task
Find the topic for the screen or term you need and read it to orient, then go to the live screen to see the behaviour for yourself. Use it to confirm vocabulary so you describe a screen in the product's own words rather than invented ones. For a CSM preparing a customer session, use the help centre to check how a concept is framed, then validate the specifics against the customer's own configuration before teaching it.
How to read it
Help content describes the general model, not a particular customer's setup, definitions or numbers - the classic misread is quoting a help article as if it confirmed what a customer is entitled to or how their completion is defined. It explains how a screen is meant to work; it does not prove the customer's data, integrations or standards. Read it to learn the vocabulary and the intended behaviour, then rely on the live screen and product confirmation for anything specific.
Honest limits
The help centre does not establish entitlement, integration scope, or any customer-specific figure, and demo help content may not match a customer's version. Confirm anything that would become a customer commitment - packaging, definitions, data sources - with product, and treat the help centre as a learning aid feeding into the customer-safe-claims discipline, not a substitute for it.
Interpretation check
Help content describes the general model, not a customer's configuration, entitlement or numbers; use it to learn vocabulary and intended behaviour, then rely on the live screen and product confirmation for anything specific.
Practical task
Look up one screen or term in the help centre, then open the live screen to confirm the behaviour, and write a one-line note on one thing the help content does NOT establish for a specific customer.
Self-check
A help article describes a feature. Can you tell a prospect they have it?
No - help content describes the general model, not entitlement or packaging. Confirm what the customer actually has with product before any commitment.
What is the help centre genuinely good for?
Orienting quickly and confirming the product's own vocabulary so you describe screens accurately rather than with invented labels - then you verify behaviour on the live screen.
Why not quote a help article's definition as the customer's definition?
It is the general framing; a customer's completion definition, standards and sources are specific and must be validated with them and product.
Verified vs demo. Screen is live in the demo at https://work-output.demo.timechamp.io/#/docs; exact controls, labels and on-screen figures are SME-validation-pending.
